Design Journey

It's been 18 years of enjoying work in the creative field for various industries. The passion of design brought me to Canada in 2007 and there was no looking back since then. I have grown from Website to Mobile Apps, Creative Design to UX/UI and learnt how everything matters.

My love for Art and Painting inspire me everyday to create designs and my knowledge of Usability helps me to create Design Solutions which matter to clients.

My philosophy for User Centered Design

Simple and Beautiful

I believe in beauty with simplicity. Designs should be capable of performing and functioning in todays world. A prototype for future designs. Just like the bullock cart was the prototype for today's auto industry.

User experience is the backbone of any business model and if we can provide delightful experiences, our users will be drawn to leverage our products in a repeatable and sustainable way. If our users are struggling to use our products, we must disrupt, reevaluate our value proposition and change our design thinking as quickly as possible because its the end-users who influence how a design takes shape.

I’ve always liked one of the passage in Steve Krug's book, “Don't make me think!: a common sense approach to web usability.” People won’t use your Web site if they can’t find their way around it. You know this from your own experience as a Web user. If you go to a site and can’t find what you’re looking for or figure out how the site is organized, you’re not likely to stay long—or come back.

Design Loop

Loop is one of the framework Inspired from IBM Design Thinking. Others are Principles and The Keys. Below are the 3 stages which are being iterated in the design loop lifecycle.

Open to learn and adapt to any new skills. I believe hard skills are easier to learn or coached. If i'm working in a team, I would not expect my peers to know everything and I would be willing to overlook certain hard skill deficits.
